[OFFICIAL] January Race Sign Ups

Welcome to one of the first official races of the forum! How is this different then the Team Shiny Hunt at SHU you ask? Well that's just it, there are no teams! Aha! The races are entirely for you! Now I'm not saying teams are bad, but this site is all about challenging oneself so team hunts wouldn't really fit the deal.

Now then, I'll make this first race easy.

OBJECTIVES:

- Get as many shiny Pokemon as you can, it doesn't matter what type it is, or what method.
- There's no limit to how many SR's, RE's or eggs that have to be done to find a shiny.

RULES:

- Any shiny found before or after the month of January DO NOT COUNT.
- No Rumble or chained shiny Pokemon!
- A video or photo must be posted to get a point.
- Have fun!

PRIZES:

- A custom userbar that shows you won the race of January 2012 in your signature.
- A move up in rank from 'Newbie Hunter' to 'Novice Hunter'.
- 5 Points 1st Place | 4 Points 2nd Place | 3 Points 3rd Place| 1 Point 4th Place and below

UPDATE:

With the new addition of prize points. You get a certain amount of points for which place you achieve at the end of the race.

First Place: 5 points
Second Place: 4 points
Third Place: 3 points
Fourth and Below: 1 Point

In the future yes. A picture of the shiny Pokemon is perfectly acceptable if you can't videotape. You will be get a point, just not yet in this contest because it isn't January yet.
